Mixed Results for the Chevrolet Warriors over the weekend - focus now shifts to the semis

The Chevrolet Warriors experienced a dream home game this weekend when they beat the defending Standard Bank Pro20 champions the Nashua Cape Cobras by 19 runs on Friday at Axxess DSL St. Georges.

On Sunday the Warriors made their way to Centurion for their round-robin match against the Nashua Titans.  Despite their good form of late, the Chevrolet Warriors were put on the back foot by the Nashua Titans' huge score of 182/4 to which Jacques Rudolph contributed 69 runs.  Having to score over nine runs an over from the first ball the Chevrolet Warriors struggled to get on track.  The Titans' David Wiese was punishing with the ball bagging five wickets for 19 runs in four overs, while Pierre Joubert took three for 23 off 3.4 overs.
