Chevrolet Warriors out to win in first Standard Bank Pro20 semi-final

Tonight all eyes will be on the Standard Bank Pro20 semi-final clash between log leaders Chevrolet Warriors and the Western Cape team of the Nashua Cape Cobras.  Playing at the Chevrolet Warriors' home ground of Axxess DSL St. George's in Port Elizabeth, the local fans are sure to be out in droves to voice their support for their team. 

The Chevrolet Warriors won five of their six round-robin matches in the Standard Bank Pro20 series and a win in the semi-finals would mean great things for the franchise.  Not only will they stand the chance to win the Standard Bank Pro20 series following their MTN40 series victory, but reaching the final will also secure a coveted spot in the Indian Champions League (ICL) due to be played in South Africa later this year.

The Nashua Cape Cobras may face some jitters coming back to Axxess DSL St. George's tonight after suffering defeat here at the hands of the Chevrolet Warriors only a week ago.  Like the Chevrolet Warriors, however, the Cobras will know what is at stake in tonight's match and are sure to put up a determined fight for victory.
